My Pretty City

I was born and raised here in Omaha, went away to school for a couple years, and ended up back in the old hometown to figure some things out.

Throughout my adventures, I spend a lot of time thinking about the ways Omaha has shaped me and comparing it to other cities I've visited. The city has left me feeling frustrated, inspired, annoyed, anxious, comforted, disappointed, and hopeful at different points.

I hope to use this forum to explore some of the things I love and hate about this place, and to investigate ways to make my city and my life healthier, more vibrant, and more beautiful.

A better understanding of what I'm trying to do will come to all of us as things go along.
